The nation, but especially New Mexico has been unnerved by the senseless shooting death of a 4 year old on I-40 this week in a so called road rage incident.
Young Lilly Garcia died from her head injury after being shot because the shooter did not like the way her father was driving. The only way to understand such action is by acknowledging the heart of darkness that is consuming people in this world.
There is little regard for human life in America in general but particularly in Albuquerque due to the unrestricted and godless culture of death we promote.
Albuquerque is the abortion capitol of North America and New Mexico denies justice to murder victims by removing the death penalty and Mayor Berry and his police chief encourage lawlessness by failing to support the police in their fight against crime.
These choices all contribute to the heart of darkness that give rise to gang violence, road rage shootings, and runaway drug abuse. The liberal mindset of Albuquerque legislators demands more be done, namely pass more regulations against road rage and gun possession but these are Band-Aids on a gunshot wound.
The only real solution to curing the heart of darkness is the light of God’s word, the light of Jesus Christ. This requires confronting evil and dealing with it justly. While the shooting death of Lilly Garcia breaks our hearts, how many children have lost their lives because of New Mexico’s unrestricted abortions this year alone?
Those children were as beautiful as Lilly and just as deserving of life. If the shooter is found, tried and convicted of murder what will his sentence be? 3, 5 or 10 years of time in prison, what was Lilly’s sentence?
Until we confront darkness with truth and light there will be only empty words from silly lawmakers and city council members who claim to want justice for Lilly Garcia but their hearts are just as dark as the rest of us.
How much longer will we put up with the foolish babble of liberal progressives who only want more lawlessness and depravity, how much longer will we endure the darkness?
