President Donald Trump gave a wonderful State of the Union speech on Tuesday. He called for unity of vision and purpose by reminding us of those who came before us and why we should be grateful.
There was a moment when he correctly condemned socialism and for called on Americans to reject the immoral and godless economic system that has brought so much misery and devastation to the world.
The president declared that, “Tonight we renew our resolve that America will never be a Socialist country!”
This statement brought many in the audience to their feet in thunderous applause, shouting at times “USA!”

The socialist former and maybe future presidential candidate appeared very displeased with Mr. Trump’s forceful assertions that “America was founded on liberty and independence and not government coercion, domination and control.”
Sanders has campaigned on the very opposite and that is why he is listening rather than giving the State of the Union.
There were audible boos when the president stated, “We are alarmed by the new calls to adopt socialism in our country,”

As most of the chamber rose to their feet, the President of the United States proudly declared, “Tonight we renew our resolve that America will never be a Socialist country!”
