In the last few weeks I have read two stories of child abuse involving parents encouraging their children (boys in both cases) to dress as the opposite sex and then perform before men as erotic dancers.
Both cases were more or less celebrated by the general public and in neither case were the preteen boys removed from their homes by CYFD or a judges to protect these children from the corrupting influence and abuse of their parents.
Yet, I recall that just last year a judge in Ohio removed a young girl from her parents custody because they would not allow the minor to undergo harmful hormone treatments to “transition” into becoming a boy, even though the barbaric “therapy” would only make her a masculine girl.
Enter Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-NY), who has introduced her so-called Equality Act, which she is making a top priority. The act would most likely remove any remaining sanity from the medical community on the issue of gender dysphoria by giving the transgender movement a strangle hold on this issue.
In an opinion piece at the Daily Signal, Emilie Kao makes this argument:
“Politicizing the medical treatment of gender dysphoria could lead
The tragedy in Ohio could be repeated in families across America.”
Similar laws to Speaker Pelosi’s proposed act already exist in several states and transgender activists are working the courts to force hospitals and doctors to harm children and adolescents with often irrevocable treatments in order to placate a mental disorder.
“The American Psychological Association’s manual of mental disorders classifies gender dysphoria as a mental illness. Research shows that 75 to 95 percent of children with gender dysphoria who go through puberty without any transgender treatments actually become comfortable with their bodies.” states Kao.
The world is increasingly giving itself over to bad thinking. Who would have thought this would even be an issue just 10 years ago. Instead of parents who encourage such behavior and then sexualize it being arrested and the children placed in a loving home, they are celebrated.
We must repent and seek the Lord.
