Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi is back. And she has not lost her ability to say things that cause us to scratch our collective heads and reflexively utter “huh”.
Take what she said just last week in discussing the contentious southern boarder wall; “The fact is, a wall is an immorality. It’s not who we are as a nation,” Pelosi told a crowd of reporters Thursday. “We are not doing a wall. Does anybody have any doubt? We are not doing a wall,” she added.
Ok, I get that she and the democrats don’t like to improve the boarder, that’s a given at this point but how is a wall immoral? What commandment or principle does it violate?
Well, that is unclear and Speaker Pelosi does not tend to elaborate on such “isms”. She just leaves it hanging there and no reporter that she would respond to will ask for clarification because they already believe the same thing as soon as she says it.
Of course, Pelosi does not oppose actual immorality such as abortion or the greed and envy of redistribution. It is more fun to make up new immoral behavior to suit the progressive agenda.
