Islam is more than a religion it is also a government. It is truly the kind of hybrid you find in Scripture. Case in point, the Islamic state. As the Islamic state has taken over more landmass in Syria, Iraq and Iran it is starting to collect property and other taxes.
In fact, the Islamic state is said to have raised $900 million in tax revenue last year alone. When you add the $45 million from ransoms and the $600 million from oil revenues, the Islamic state is bringing in billions of dollars each year. Not bad for a religion and that doesn’t count the millions in donations it receives.
The Bible describes the system of antichrist as being religious, military and governmental. This system demands absolute submission to its authority and absolute control over finances while being bent on world domination, sound familiar?
In the last few months the Islamic state has gone beyond its Middle Eastern borders causing destruction and mayhem around the world. Until just recently most of the West thought it was much ado about nothing but with recent attacks in Paris and California, the Islamic state has awakened a very groggy giant.
It remains to be seen, whether America will awaken or roll over and go back to sleep but one thing is for certain the Islamic state is only just beginning to fulfill its prophetic role in the last days.
We should not be deceived, God is not mocked as we have sown sin and the rejection of the Lord we will soon reap a harvest of death and destruction. If we are willing to recognize the true nature of Islam and its role in future events America can still become a force that fights against evil but do we have an ear to hear?
Making the case for Islam being the government and the religion of the Antichrist is not difficult. In fact, reading the Scriptures from our current vantage point in history makes it easy to do.
Revelation 7:9 through the end of the chapter describes believers in Jesus dressed in white robes gathered at the base of the throne, they are said to have come out of the great tribulation. Revelation 20:4 describes those who have been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus Christ what religion or government today still beheads people?
“ It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. his calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.” –Revelation 13:16-18
There’s been so much argument about the Mark of the beast that many people no longer want to deal with it. For a moment, let’s set aside the actual number and focus on the economics.
Notice that no one can buy or sell in the economic system of antichrist. What other governmental system has such absolute control that no one can buy or sell under it.
Really only Islam can pull this off and in strict Muslim states such as the Islamic state, people are not allowed to buy or sell unless they are Muslim.
While many argue that the mark of the beast is a tattoo or a computer chip or something else most people fail to realize that devout Muslims pray five times a day and bounce their heads off a prayer mat in the up with marks and therefore heads and they also use prayer beads in their right hands, coincidence?
Now let’s go back to the number of the beast. There been so many theories and mathematical contortions to try to figure out what the number 666 means that the best explanation for this number comes from Muslims have been saved by Jesus.
Those that have learned to read Greek have come across the Greek letters that make up this number and noticed how much these letters when run together look like Arabic for the phrase “in the name of Allah”. Is this just grasping at straws or could it be the true meaning? Only the Lord knows for sure.
Another interesting clue that leads me to believe that Islam is the government and religion of antichrist is the harlot of Babylon. She is not only mentioned in the book of Revelation but she is mentioned in Zechariah chapter 5.
In Zechariah 5, there is a curse set to go out over all the earth, the Hebrew word translated as curse is the word, alah. This curse takes the form of a woman, not just any woman but a woman filled with iniquity and wickedness. This is very similar to the woman or harlot of Babylon described in Revelation.
It is interesting to note that this woman is sent to the region of Babylon and she is the center of economic trade but yet she is drunk on the blood of the saints. With this not be a good description of Mecca in Saudi Arabia?
Mecca has been the center of trade since before the time of the false prophet Mohammed. In fact, Mohammed chose Mecca because of the great trade routes that pass through there. He also chose to leave the black meteorite as the central point of worship in Mecca. This is the ideal that all Muslims bow down to and pray to five times a day in a tradition that goes all the way back to the mystery religions of Babylon.
These are but a few of the clues found in Scripture regarding the governmental military religion of Islam and the false prophet. I could also quote examples in the book of Daniel and Revelation regarding the military conquests and how closely they mirror what we see in the news headlines today.
There are other scriptures that describe the treatment of women under the antichrist, and the treatment of unbelievers but I believe this gives you a good idea of the point I’m trying to make.
