It has begun. The persecution of Christians for holding to a Christian worldview because it compromises erotic liberty.
U.S. District Judge David Bunning has imprisoned Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis until such time as she violates her deeply held Christian belief that same sex marriage is a sin and agree to issue marriage licenses, even though the law does not allow it, only an unconstitutional decree by the Supreme Court.
Now before you start to think you already heard this Bible Factor update, something has changed. Now Kim Davis has been sent to jail.

I know that her personal closets have been thrown wide open and exposed to the light of day. We have found out that she has been married 4 times and has a complicated parentage for her children, to be nice. But understand that Kim gave her life to Jesus Christ in 2011 and was deeply convicted of her sin.
But here is why this should matter to you and I, Kim Davis has been imprisoned indefinitely for her conviction that she should not be compelled by the state to act immorally and in violation of what she finds in the word of God.
That is important.
Daniel and 3 of his buddies had a similar view, so did the Apostles of our Lord. They were willing to go to prison or even die rather than obey the state, when the state said you must eat this, you must bow to the idol, or you can not preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and call sin, sin.
Like all of us, Kim Davis is just a wretched and sinful human being who has been saved by our Lord by His grace. Her hope is to avoid sinning again. But one thing is clear to Kim and it should be clear to us all, if we deny Him before men, He will deny us before the Father.
And so she must be jailed and that is why she told the judge, “Thank you.”
